Morrowind Modding Trailers – Mora Stada – A Telvanni Town Mod

Today for Morrowind Modding Trailers, we’re showing off Mora Stada, a Telvanni town mod by John Meckem (aka Bahamutskingdom) that adds a lovely Telvanni village on its own little island just off the coast of Tel Branora. Part of a large wave of Telvanni town mods that were released towards the tail-end of 2015, Mora Stada provides a scenic locale with a couple dozen shops, homes, manors and taverns for you to explore, not to mention a massive wizard’s tower that doubles as a player home, with dozens of services, such as a complete alchemy sorter, for your convenience. Of course, there’s a lot more to Mora Stada than what’s on the surface, and you’ll find a number of interesting and unique locations underneath this pleasant little island.

If you’re a fan of Telvanni cities or just like playing a Telvanni character, I recommend giving Mora Stada a try, and you can download it today from the Nexus!

Morrowind’s Lyithdonea – The Azurian Isles Trailer

Lyithdonea, the isles of Dusk and Dawn, a scenic paradise of tropical jungles, peaceful waterways, ancient strongholds and bamboo forests. This eastern most region of the territorial lands of the Dunmer and Morrowind is home to Azura City, a massive metropolis that dominates the center of these Azurian Isles, where merchants from two continents trade wares in the street and priests of Azura worship from the temples. Outside this regional hub of activity is a beautiful landscape of mountains, jungles, swamps, and bamboo forests where small Velothian towns and Dunmer strongholds dot the shorelines, with ancient Daedric shrines poking out from the skyline.

A land of both beauty and danger, the Azurian Isles are home to some of the most awe-inspiring landmarks you’re like to find in Tamriel, like the gardens of the isles of the dawn, or the temples of Starmount Mountain, but these isles are also home to numerous dangers, from the dragons that ply the skies to the smugglers and Daedric cultists that make the numerous cracks and crevasses of this rough terrain their home. Regardless of what you’ll find in Lyithdonea, one thing is sure, adventure awaits around every corner, with new marvels to gawk at and new foes to defeat, you’ll find it all in the Azurian Isles!

Lytihdonea – The Azurian Isles is a project created by Melchior Dahrk, and currently the mod project is in an Alpha state, with exteriors mostly complete and some interiors and hostile NPCs in place, but Melchior’s currently looking for help with this massive project, and if you’re interested in chipping in an interior or two, you can make a submission at Project Tamriel!

You can read more about Lyithdonea here.

Oblivion House Mod Hunters – Episode One

Oblivion House Mod Hunters is a series dedicated to showing off three random house mods for Oblivion each week in three different categories (Popular, New and Underrated), with the goal of showing off the features, locations, and styles that each house provides. Since almost everyone needs a house mod of some sort for their characters, and with a few thousand house mods out there for Oblivion, it’s easy to miss a cool house mod that you may well enjoy, so my hope is that with this series, we’ll be able to spotlight some house mods that you may not have considered before while also making it easier for you to decide on a house mod for your own play-through of Oblivion.

In this first episode, we’re taking a look at the extremely popular Red Rose Manor mod by Emma, the new house mod Lone Wolf Cottage by ex-Morrowind modder Srdjan Pokorni (Spokorni), and the underrated Bond’s Skyship mod by Bond.

Morrowind Mod of the Month – December 2015

Today we have the eighth episode of our Mod of the Month series, celebrating the best mods from December 2015. The idea behind this series is to release a video every month honoring the best mods released in that particular month, as decided by popular vote and also in part by my own personal decisions.

You can vote for the Mod of the Month for January 2016 here.

Our mod of the month for December 2015 is RR Mod Series – Better Ships and Boats By the Resdayn Revival Team, the latest in the superb lineup of Resdayn Revival mods that have been slowing updating various graphical parts of the game, and Better Ships and Boats continues that tradition with an absolutely fantastic replacement of the models and textures of the ships of Vvardenfell, adding in some really high-quality ships to Morrowind’s waters with an eye for a realistic level of detail while maintaining that classic Morrowind charm. It’s easy to see why it’s our Mod of the Month, and it’s definitely a mod worth checking out!

Second choice for mod of the month is More Quests By Sophie Kirschner, a mod that aims to add more quests to Morrowind that expand upon the personalities and characters you meet in a lore-friendly manner that blends in fairly well with Morrowind’s vanilla quests. Right now these quests only include a handful of characters involving the Wolverine Hall Mage’s Guild, but the author has committed to making more quests in the future, and it’ll be exciting to see how far this series goes.

Finally, our third choice for mod of the month is Stronghold Retexture By Flash3113, a complete retexture of the Dunmer Strongholds of Vvardenfell, providing a high-resolution and lore-friendly replacement for the interior and exterior textures of these famed strongholds, following up on similar texture replacers created by Flash3113 like the Lush Ascadian Isles mod from a few months ago. This is a really high quality texture replacer that aims to improve the Morrowind experience and atmosphere rather than change it, and in my opinion it perfectly accomplishes that goal and is certainly worth a look.

The music in this video is from Morrowind Music Overdose by Jon Babb.
