Description:
Within the Ghostfence, under the Ash Blight of Dagoth Ur, Lies the Yassu Mine. The largest Glass mine on the Island of Vvardenfell. While easily forgotten, it provides Morrowind with a much needed supply of Raw Glass. Yet the mine struggles, with miners occasionally falling sick and attacks from the 6th house becoming far more likely with each passing day.
This is a quest line for, and overhaul of the Yassu Mine. I always wondered why the Empire would charter a mine within the Ghostfence, and as it turns out, this is supposed to be a rich deposit of Raw glass. Unlike it’s Ebony Counterpart, the Yassu mine is rarely mentioned in game despite being an important supply of glass.
Features:
- An improvement and expansion to the Yassu Mine. With improved rock meshes, more clutter and detailing, and correct cave textures that match the exterior. Previously they were using the Mold caves, now they use the more fitting Lava caves.
- More background to Umbacano. Since he was a significant character in Oblivion, I wanted him to play a bigger role in the mine.
- A new Dwemer, and Aylied Ruin to trek through.
- A quest line that is focused on helping the Mine and it’s survivability.
World Edits:
Overhauls two dungeon interior cells, but otherwise makes no exterior cell edits or landscape edits.
Other Notes:
Should be compatible with most other mods, minus other mods overhauling the same dungeon cells.
