Off Topic / MMO Games

So, guys and ladys, is there MMORPG (or other MMO) do you play?

Mine is World of Warcraft - I don't have much experience with other titles, to be honest. And currently, I'm playing on Polish WoTLK private server (I don't like Cataclysm but like MoP).

Other game I really enjoyed is Heroes of the Storm - IMHO really good title. Didn't try League of Legends despite community (atm I thing HotS has less trolls) and I'm thinking I don't try it.

Master Planning and Discussion / [Idea/WIP] Day & Night City Music System

First question - do we need it or it's only my own  thought?
Today I wrote script (still needs some tweaks), it needs some more testing (I'm telling you, it's working) which plays five tracks for day and five different tracks for night when player is in cells with "ModTown 2015" in their names.

If someone's curious, there's download link (I have some Internet issues that's why I used hosting instead attachment [Interrnet refuses adding attachment today]). And please, don't hurt me for my music choice (in fact I really want to use Oblivion city music but, y'know, I don't want to sentence ModTown to burning in hell because it uses resources Beth doesn't want us to use in Morrowind).

NPC and Book Creation / [NPC] ModTown should start to live

We don't have too much NPC claims and I'm thinking we should have in next or 2nd next update somlaime NPCs in currently merged claims. So, I sarted to work on filling those claims. First  thing I want to do are Merchant Hall interiors. What do you think? I mean, in the next DEG dev video we could show some living places instead empty ones (I know our claim alphas/betas will be those living places but, y'know, I really think we should have something more ).

So, I think I should write introduction because...


I'm trying to mod Morrowind since bought version with CS (around 2006 if I recall correctly). First mods was some kind of uber-pro-mega-itemzz I needed (rings of strength+night eye, etc). Later, my first item with 'unique' model (daedric bow with green instead of red) was Gorgona's Bow (Fortitude smth and Drain Fatigue, constant). Never relased anything of those mods.
Later started to work on scripts and this is what I love to do (but still didn't started to MWSE scripting and I have plenty of ideas which need MWSE or smth like this).

No needs to write everything about my modding. There was (long time ago) my Durzog alternate texture on PES, sometimes I'm relasing some of my mesh alterations (in "Show what are you working on #xx") but nothing big. Ofkorz, I want to make some landmass mod like MD (probably everybody wants, amirite?) but my last idea was lore unfrendy (some ideas was raping TES lore and it should be made as TC which I don't want to do). Maybe some day, I have some idea and stuff.In fact my ideas are overhelming me. That's why I rarely relase something.

In other hand I love digging in files (using hex editor or other editors) and find a way to export some resources from games and import to Morrowind - e.g. I imported swords models from Temple of Elemental Evil.

I thought about start this hobby  dudes and dudettes, but hesitated some time.

Anyway, do you have some hobbies other than modding/Morrowind? It's interesting to know something about fellow modders .

Resource Requests / Mod Mans Gem Pack

I want to use some gems from Mod Mans Gem pack but I need to modify some meshes (despite scripting, without this writing scripts will be hard as hell if not impossibe [at least for me or without MWSE]). What do you think dudes and dudettes?

I want to create some unique think I always wanted to have in my mod but never finished .

Finally, I have some ideas for #34 and time to write about 'em. Final concept is... Daedric shrine claimed by Telvanni mage with his Telvanni tower. Daedric part will be not so safe because there will be spawning daedras. Some cultist will be there too. Hostile cultist. Not every part of shrine will be explored by Telvanni. Probably, there will be some quests related to exploration. Maybe some mystery .
