Most of th eunique content you will find for Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim here or on other sites are fan made, usually by the person that posts the informatin/images/video of the content in game, or in the CS, or their 3d rendering program of choice.

Off Topic / Great House Fliggerty site issues...

Some of you might have noticed that there was a hiccup on the 30th of October at Great House Fliggerty, and some things are still not working right. The issue stemmed from a temporary shutdown of the servers that are hosting Great House Fliggerty, and our sister sites. While this was happening Fliggerty began a server migration to get a jump start on moving things to a new server. We hope to have the migration completed by the end of next week. We also hope to have any bugs caused by the server migration worked out by the end of the week too. In the case of bugs, and other issue we ask for your continued patience.
Until the migration is completed you can continue using the forum link on Modding History to get into most forums on Great House Fliggerty.

Sorry it's late, but it's been hectic lately. I haven't even had time to work on this in the last few days let alone package it up.
So here it is a bit more finished then the last one, but still not finished enough.

EDIT: There is a modified indigo display case with new animations,a nd textures that have been cleaned up, or replaced. The Animation might not work with the typical scripts so you may want to back up your current indigo case in the very good chance that this display case might not work with your current scripts.

Due to the 12 day extension I will probably still work on getting more fleshed out intiriors, and dialog for this, as it stands I'm about maybe 85% finished/satisfied with this.
I will still accept some dialog comments on avatars/Modders for Marsie Doates to mention under the topic of "Talented Modders".
DarkElfGuy was going to get on in for his Avatar, and I'm still waiting for that

SO the current link is close to done, but not quite if it would be more trouble then it is worth to merge it then please wait about 11 days.

Okay last I heard today was the deadline for the Modder plots, and I'm cutting it pretty close, so here she is as done as I could get her with all the RL crap I've been dealing with the past few months.
Some new misc items placed around a couple of dialog lines added in, and then some books, and clutter added to the cavern under the house.
All told the house still looks pretty bare, but not as bad as it was, and the cavern isn't nearly as plain as it was either. I wanted to get more in, but I've been too busy, and then there is the writers block I have been suffering from for the past few moths too.
Any way, there is a dialog topic for dues in my Avatars dialog so once that quest gets going it should tie in neatly. (no journal entries in there though), and it should suffice.

Right, by the time I've finished playing my Avatar character the three times I've run him through the MQ, Tribunal, and Bloodmoon, he's got so much loot sitting in his place that it's not even funny. Richest mer in all Tamriel most times. It happened in Arena, and Daggerfall too. Oblivion I never finished, but it happened way faster in that game, and Skyrim you may as well not have an economy. All of these massive amounts of gold, gems, and jewelry with out taking any intentional advantage of exploits, and with out cheating. I just wanted to find out what other modders involved thought would be a fair amount to pay for dues. I gather that these dues will be used to construct some part of Modtown that is tied in with the main quest? If that is the case then a several thousand Septim fee for dues might actually be right on the nose.

Sassman, MD told me to just put in a "dues" topic, and write a bit of dialog with the "player-> additem gold_001 XX" command included.
And that's what I did, but I made it dependent upon whether or not the player character did a specific quest for my Avatar. If not then the Avatar refuses to pay his dues, whereas if the PC has completed the quest then the dues are paid. I also have conditions set to recognize a global variable that stops the player spamming the dues topic, and receiving a potentially endless amount of Septims from my Avatar, as I did not have the related journal entries to use as conditions to control the dialog. I assume that the global variables will not be needed when that part of the quest-line gets completed.

At any rate if you need the dialog to be put in I can do it for you, You'll just have to PM me a link to your plot, and I'll do it,and PM it back to you., or I'm sure once it is merged in to the main DL anyone working on that part of the quest-line can do it on the fly. It's just a rush to get my plot finished as they are due tomorrow, and I've been cleaning up after baseball size hail damage to my yard with a f-1 tornado thrown in to make things spicy around here (I only just got all of the glass [I think] cleaned out of the inside of my house [10 out of 15 windows trashed by hail].  So my plot while a bit more fleshed out then it was three weeks back is not as close to done as I was hoping it would be by now.

Any way I'm thinking about 5000 Septims is what my Avatar will be paying for dues. If that is not a good number then those in charge of the quest when we get that far will have to change it.

I would like to get an idea what other modders working on Modtown have in mind for fair dues. Currently I have my Avatar set to give 10 drakes to the player as his part of the dues to be collected. I think that is kind of low, and am only using the amount as a place holder until I have a better idea of what others think they ought to pay as dues. I also think maybe that the dues for all modders should be the same rather then a hodgepodge of differing amounts for the player to scratch their heads over.

Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

I've been leaving any resources in their native directories, and putting all of my custom worki in my own "Drak" folders in their respective directories (meshes/textures/icons/book art etc). I figure if the resources already have a directory most people would leave them as they are, so when they DL Modtown they'll not be getting an extra directory from my use of said resources. Most of my plot has my own custom work in it though, and anyone using my mods will already have those directories in their data files folder.

Just a quick question here. Have we decided on the amount the Modder avatars will be paying for their dues? I just ask, because I want to be able to write in the correct amount int he dialog for when the player has gotten to that part of the quest line.

EDIT: also what are the journal entries going to be for the due collections? So that when you do get the dues from my avatar he doesn't just keep paying you every time you click the dues topic.

Over the past few weeks I've been battling with a mesh trying to reduce it from over 2 million polygons down to less then 30,000 trying to keep it good looking, while not overloading one of my interior cell, as a result of my efforts there are now TWO new clutter items, plus another unrelated clutter Item in my claim. Still no progress on further dialog, and I still need to re-fill some of the containers that belong to the individuals living in my claim. Progress = slow, but steady. Hoping to get more dialog from my Fornit soon. Also trying to work up the gumption to rework some of my textures on some of my weapons meshes.
Clutter is coming along slowly also.

You can merge it now,a nd if I get more done around the current blockage I've had I'll resubmit if that isn't a problem. DEG asked if he could sneak in a sentence about his avatar for my Scout NPC to talk about and I'll need to put that in when he gets it to me. I',m also working on some new misc items I will be adding to this as we now have a new deadline,a nd making updated textures for the Sword of Omens,and the Copper Khopesh to use. You can merge what I've got so far though. That is if it won't present any doubling issues with another updated submission.

Well I didn't get her finished as far as cluttering, and Dialog goes. Not all of the little "fetchme" quests I wanted were included either, as I did not have the dialog done for them. The cavern under the house is a bit sparse again due to my utter lack of cluttering skills. But here is my plot IF we are to be done now with it. If we aren't to be done yet there will be more added when I can get my muse off it's damned ass, and doing it's job.
Or maybe I ought to get me a Fornit (google it), and fire the muse???
