Unlocking the thread because I've received the permission from Westly to use his heads. I've asked for all Modtown team, so you guys and gals can use them too.

Westly says that the reason why he asks people to get his permission first is because he is working on a new iteraion of MHPX and doesn't want the textures of lesser quality floating around. He says that if a person wants to use his faces in their mod, he wants to be sure that they (the textures used) meet his today's standards, and to be able to offer better textures, possibly making them unique for the mod in question.

If you set them using dialogue, you need to make them global - instead you have them local in script and dialogue can't set them properly.
But the script would have failed then, whereas everything worked normally, and the quest can be completed.

I've opted for local script for performance reasons. The quest is small, so the using of global script was not justified, I thought. I haven't tested everything enough, I admit - was in a hurry to make an update for DEG's upcoming showcase.

The script is attached to an NPC, and variables are activated in the dialogue of the same NPC.

I did exactly that, with script command "setJournalIndex". It does advance the quest index, however the associated journal entry does not appear.

I wrote entries for all indices (aka quest stages).

Ok, so finally got it sorted.  As usual it was Windows 8's fault.  Put the file I was working on is some secondary parallel dimension that I didn't ask it to.  My wife, who is light years more computer literate than I, helped me find it.  At any rate, here it is.  Thanks for trying to help Wretched Fetcher.  Hope everyone has a good night.

Then it should be there. You're probably have too many files in the data folder, so it's difficult to find your mod.

Also, if you have multiple installations, maybe you look in the wrong one.

The music is nice, by the way.
I've also couldn't get permission to go through that door where a guard stands. I've played games for quite a long time (I guess at least 5 times with both "dealers"). Probably not long enough? Or does it work entirely different (I've made this assumption after the barmen said I should play more to be respected there)?

Wrote a short quest which requires a player to test some exotic weapons for the smith. The quest will be given only if the player has a good relationship with Nikolai (a lot of things will work like that). Pretty high stats in several skills will be needed, but the reward is not too shabby either.

Here's a quick question for the pros:

So a quest's journal index can be advanced via the script, but it works silently, without a journal entry appearing for this index. Is it possible that a player would receive a proper notification of her advancement (the journal entry)? I'm sure there should be a command for this. Thanks!

Here's mine.

Don't try to hit the practice dummy yet, or else it produces an embarrassing result.  ;D

Also, I reuse wollibeebee's hourglass from some other plot. It hasn't got a texture and an error will pop-up upon entering the house.

Haven't cleaned the dialogue yet, since the plot is in a very much raw state.

Good job, guys, I liked the casino very much.

Here's a little bug I've noticed: when I initiated dialogue with the lady for whom I should supposedly buy a drink, this error popped up: "MT15_drink_topic script. Dialogue topic buy some drink was not found on line 1". Tested on version 5.10 (the most recent).

I've played Runescape extensively - loved the music and adventures, and the crafting system, and - especially - the writing of dialogues and quests. The graphic overhaul killed the fun factor for me though.

What I really love and even crave for sometimes is the Anarchy Online. Its futuristic alien world absorbed me completely. The game has the most elaborate crafting system I've encountered - you could spend untold amount of time first planning, then buffing your skills to be able to make things, then actually crafting, then buffing again to be able to use the items you've made... Very nerdy, just how I like it. The world is very thought out - I would say, on the level of Morrowind. The music and atmosphere is brilliant, too.

Its graphics are outmoded by modern standards, but they are going to update them - however I'd prefer they left everything how it was.

Bug report: I haven't been able to go upstairs from the basement. The stair model is too small for this. I guess it was one of those which were never used in game.

I could go downstairs without problem. My character was a dark elf.

Edit: I don't remember whether I had levitation active, maybe that was the cause of the issue. Still worth checking.
